Help Wanted: Definition Assistance

I can't find my nooshkadoo, can you?

My daughter Leah and I were having a seriously silly conversation this weekend and the word "nooshkadoo" came up. Somehow, neither of us can reconstruct why or how it arose, or what it actually means. We did have a brief debate as to the spelling -- we tried "knewskadew" -- but somehow, that didn't seem right. All I can really recall is that I wrote "I can't find my nooshkadoo, can you?" on the pad by the phone.

Can you help us out? What we need now is a definition, and using it in a sentence might help clarify things as well. Just post your thought under comments and submit. Feel free to pass the question along to your friends, too. We can use as much input as we can get :)

If you've got one, flaunt it.

You can use some HTML (a's, br's, p's, oh my!) if you'd like, if you don't know what that means, don't worry about it.
